That I lay down my life for my friends.
When Spring gives birth to life anew.
Hearts give way to love's old and new.
Thoughts of you drift in.
As I ponder what has been.
The wonder of what
We've yet to discover.
Imagination hovers,
filling the echos deep within.
Giggles ensue,
Smiles press hard across the face.
I know without knowing,
It must surely be showing,
My life I would give over
And over yet again,
A wish made would keep
each reminiscence
Guarded safe in days
forever yet to come.
Each word, every thought,
locked away deep in our hearts never to end.
Come sing with me.
Come dance through my dreams.
Though our hands
may never meet.
The touch of our hearts
will join us forever
forever bound.
May the promise of new beginnings,
Fill your life with hope never ending.
