I love this little time saver and am amazed to learn how many are either unaware or do not know how to use it. It is real easy and when you have mastered it, you will be amazed at how much time it will save.
With your mouse - Left click - do not release the button - drag the indicator across the text you wish to copy. It will than be highlighted release the Left mouse button. Again right click - you will see "paste" on the menu too - select that - single left mouse click - and there you be - your text is here now too.If you prefer to move the text without leaving it in the original space - note the "cut" command. Just follow the steps above substituting the "cut"command for the"copy" command. To move an image - simply single left click on the image to select it and follow the procedure above.(Rather than the right click maneuver - after the selected text is highlighted - you can go to the top of the window you are working in - left click Edit - on that drop down menu - select = left click on "copy" - this will do the same thing. You can access the "paste" command through Edit as well.)

*Windows Clipboard - in most cases the clipboard can not be seen - it is a program that holds only one piece of information at a time. You must "paste" the information you have copied there by using either the "copy" or "cut" commands, or the original information you copied to the Clipboard will be lost. Remember: "cut" or "copy" then "paste"
